Dear Symphonites,

A few of us feel like the Lord is leading us to set out regular times to
get together and pray for the church Symphonic. We are thinking every 3-4
weeks at this point. We are going to start Friday, June 6th at 6:30, and
will be done no later than 8pm. We are trying to seek the Lord on how to
pray for the church; focusing on what His will is and not what we are
wanting to pray about. This is just a time for prayer, so feel free to eat
before coming, so we can jump right in.

I live in Chesapeake behind Greenbrier mall. Message for directions.

IMPORTANT: I HAVE TWO CATS AND A DOG. We won't always be meeting at my
house, so if you have allergies, this might not be the night to come.

If people want to consider increments of 5, 10 or more… that is also fine! Whatever you feel you can do is fine!


We helped more then 50 households this last Friday… we are a growing operation…. About 2 months ago, I had a sign up sheet for holiday baskets…. And made the clients pick the holiday they needed the most (Thanksgiving or Christmas) So, there are technically 27 names or so on the Thanksgiving list… unfortunately I have to take care of them 1st… BUT wouldn’t it be amazing if we could take care of ALL of our regular clients!???

PLEASE let me know what you think you can assist with!

You can make an entire basket up yourself... Or you can pick an item and buy some number of that…. Or you can give a financial donation, and I will do the shopping for you! Or you can PRAY WITHOUT CEASING THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE ENDS MEET!! 

Amnesty International is increasingly documenting how human rights violations drive and deepen poverty. People living in poverty have least access to power to shape the policies of poverty and are frequently denied effective remedies for violations of their rights.

AI is working to hold governments, big business and other powerful actors to account for human rights violations which target the poor, and which deepen poverty.

ok-- today was the 1st day of our FOODARMY clients sign'n up for either Thanksgiving OR Christmas baskets
so far--- we have 22-28 house holds signed up for Thanksgiving,
and we already have 16--22 signed up for Christmas baskets!

SO... (that is a lot)

we need help.

Alright, people... the time is coming....
we are posting sign up sheets this Friday during our FoodArmy hours of operation for people to sign up for Thanksgiving baskets.

If you or the business you work for would like to, or are interested in possibly sponsoring a Thanksgiving basket or part/parts of one or more... Please contact us.

If you check out theFoodArmy 3rd quarter report I just posted you will see we potentially have MANY (like well over 40) baskets to assemble and distribute.
