Well color me impressed. I was listening to "Grace Kelly" at work today, wondering, "Whatever happened to that Josiah guy from American Idol? Did he die or something? Because that'd be flippin' lame if he doesn't have anything new out after all this time." I magically found the EP online then and could NOT stop listening to "Theysay" and "Arctic Outcry Wind." Holy cow. Super glad that, not only are you not dead, but you're putting out good music. Looking forward to the album. :]

Hey there Megan in the comment below me - try not to get too excited over anti-social people like Angela. One of the downsides of a public internet site is that people log on and write crazy, generalized, uninformed things just to get a rise out of everyone else. I guess they must be so lonely or starved for attention that they get their kicks from reading angry responses from all the perfect strangers that they piss off. But just to prove to everyone that Angela is probably very needy and high-maintenance, if she were specific in her comments/criticisms, we could take them for what they are and simply say everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, she gives no specific instances of how Josiah could possibly be a sell-out, when he hasn't even released a full album yet and obviously isn't rich because he still drives himself to all the shows he does around the country. And if she knew anything at all about Josiah, she would know that he has always had a slight British lilt to his voice when he sings In fact, the judges on AI even got a real kick out of it when he auditioned 2 years ago. If you remember, when they asked him about it Josiah commented to Simon that it's probably because he listens to a lot of British music, like Snow Patrol and Simon then asked him to sing a Snow Patrol song, which Josiah, of course, totally nailed ! Anyway, ever since The Beatles came to the U.S. from England in 1964, there's been long tradition of American singers that teeter on the edge of using a British accent when they sing (Billy Joel, Madonna, Matthew Sweet, Chrissie Hynde), not to mention tons of British singers that use American accents when they sing (Robert Plant, Terrance Trent D'Arby, Eric Clapton etc.). But it's nice to see that Josiah has such passionate fans that'll defend him so ferociously. It's a good thing Angela wasn't in the same room with you otherwise a Jerry Springer episode might've broken out. Peace.
