hey i was watching that convention on tv and was hoping to see anakin in full gear walking around, appearently they just showed loads of video game footage. im in paris now, just came back from checking out mona lisa and great 16th century art at the louvre. hope your summer is going well

Unfortunately we're sort of forced to sell for those prices. The artist has to pay for everything up front, and we even have to give Lucasfilm a percentage of each piece sold and we can't sell smaller prints of the limited edition piece.

We have to cover the printing of the litho which is over $1000.00 for me, our plane flights, our hotel room for a week, our meals for a week, and our tables at the conventions, which in LA that came $650.00 for me because I'm getting two tables. I'm also going to show my print in a frame this year which is probably going to be another $4-500, if not more. Then the fact that we are not working/producing anything for the week that we're at the convention.

So when it comes down to it, a lot of the artist will actually lose money, some will break even, and some might actuall make a little. Believe me, I rather sell mine for cheaper so little kids can get them as well, but I have a family of five to feed. Pricing is always the hardest part for me, that's why I haven't given it to StarWars.com and other sites, because I'm not totally sure myself.
