i'm in SC and we vote in teh primary in a little over a week.. i hate you aren’t getting as much airtime.. but i have to know once and for all if elected: ARE YOU GOING TO LEAD US OUT OF IRAQ ASAP?
I’m blown away that it’s looking like both primary candidates are pro-Iraqi conflict and I just can’t have that.. please be straight up.

Hey, man, I am trying to be as respectful as possible but our jenny and the rest of the Michigan dems have made a real ass of themselves (pun intended.) Man! The progressive who fought for the people to have the right to vote in the primary must really be rolling over in their graves. I know everyone says that you should vote 'Uncommited,' but I just can't I am not uncommited, I am FOR John Edwards, and I want a little respect here myself! I have to vote what I believe, not what people tell me I should do to get the results I want. My Mom, who is 90 years old also wrote in John Edwards on her absentee ballot. I just want you to know -- so when the votes are counted, what does and doesn't count is beyond my control. But, like the rest of us whos here in michigan I am shouting -- we are here, we are here, we are here. Joan Skoda

Below is the question I submitted to MSNBC for tonight’s debate:

Would you support a law that not only limits the salaries and compensation of CEOs but a law that also demands those millions of dollars, that would have gone to the CEO, be used instead to rebuild American Factories and restore American Manufacturing Jobs?

At Manual for Democracy we feel it is absurd to say that we can’t make anything in the USA because it would cost too much; American working families could easily have manufacturing jobs if instead of one CEO receiving a 200 million dollar bonus, that 200 million was used to rebuild a factory and hire American Workers.

As Corporations have cut American salaries, benefits, and Healthcare, while closing American Factories and shipping our jobs overseas, all the extra money saved has gone into the CEO’s pocket. CEOs used to make 50x the salary of the average employee, today they make 384x and that money did not come from hard work or leadership, it came from outsourcing our jobs.

If CEOs salaries were cut back to making 50x… all that extra money could be used to rebuild American Factories and restore American manufacturing jobs.

I believe that you can contribute so much to the country, so many changes for the better. You seem to really know what issues are the most important for us. Senator Edwards, there are so many reasons you have my support. I am so strong a candidate that I chose to play percussion for Cory Phillips based largely on the fact that he's a big enough supporter to have gotten a photo taken with you.

John Edwards has been discribed as the "angry canidate". He is also third in all the polls, despite coming in second in Iowa. Yet if you look at the issues, his message resignates best with the US today. Could it be that it is not as sensational to report on a white male presidental canidate, thus effecting his time in the spotlight, in turn effecting his support? While the others all talk about " change ", he is firm on all his stances and appears to be upset about everything. Why?

Its easy not to get mad about an out of control healthcare system when you can afford the best.

Its easy not to get mad about a broken trade policy that is costing the US thousands of jobs each year, when you know your job in the senate will never be outsourced.

Its easy not to get mad about corporate control of Washington when your bennefiting from it.

It easy not to gt mad about diminishing middle class when you know you are already on the upper end.

Its easy not to get mad about a needless war of choice when youre loved ones are not in it.

Its very easy to get angry of all these things when you are a sincere canidate who actually cares about these issues, and realizes this is more than a race for the White House, these are peoples lives. Everyone else can keep on screaming "change", but that is not a new concept. We hear that every four years. Americans are just too dumb to remember. Here's the secret: Washington always changes after an election. Its time to have a change for the better with a canidate who actually cares about these problems. Because theyre kind of worth getting angry about...

My mother is an elementary school principal in Lancaster, SC and would like to know if schools across the states would be measured by tests with proficient levels that are statistically equal if you become president.She said she would like to see schools measured as apples to apples across the states instead of apples to oranges.

If Obama were to guarantee you the VP ship, would you drop out and endorse him to be the nominee?

I'm sure he'd win it in a two-person race against Clinton.

I'm sure Obama/Edwards would beat any of the Repubs next November...

As a single middle class working mom, John has wonderful visions and priorities to benefit myself and my lil future leader of America. The economy, health insurance, and educational system needs major reform. It's also time for Big Government to stop medeling in our personal views and interests. Return that back to the States!
