hey i have a friend whos in a bit of a dilema. She has some stray cats she took in but its not working out too well so her mom wants to get rid of them and they couldnt find anywhere that would accept them. So now her mom wants to take them to a place where they will eventually be put down.

bless your hearts! i just love looking at your page - we adopt all our kitties from shelters (even guinea pigs and small critters.. i have a big heart for the lil guys!) and am so glad to see so many animals adopted out. keep up the good work.. and bless the hearts of those who adopt!

My heroes :')
Well i just got my best furry companion tooken away from me!
He was always there for me when i always had a hard time in school he listened to my problems when I barely made friends! This german shepherd was a really good listener and very protective of me! I know hes my guardian angel from above.

I just wanted to say that despite all the criticism you have received about euthanizing Oreo, you still have a proud supporter in me.  I know you guys did what you thought was best and that it wasn't an easy decision to make.  My husband and I had to make the same awful decision about our own dog in March 2007.  He was very aggressive and only got worse over the course of the 4 years we had him.  Our vet said that euthanization was the only option at that point, especially because he had tried to attack me (the only person he once trusted) and we were afraid he would hurt our young son who was only a few months old at the time.  Sometimes euthanization is the only option in a case like this and people should stop condemning the ASPCA and instead condemn the worthless animal abuser who caused Oreo to act that way in the first place!  The ASPCA works extremely hard for animals and will always have my support!

Get your pet chipped and people please register the chip...we found a puppy and it had a chip but the owners dnt register.....we were lucky and found the owner...sophie is safe at home

Today, I was going to take out my trash and a cat was wandering around my apartment building. He came up to me and I felt that he was very fond of me. So, I went back inside, grabbed a blanket and a can of cat food, and went outside. I gave him the whole can of food and sat outside with him to make sure he ate all of it. My heart feels ten times fuller now that I did a good deed for a hungry animal. And I would really love it if I could adopt him. I just wanted to share this with everyone and encourage people to adopt! Animals have feelings and nothing says I love you better than a good home, especially with the holidays approaching.

Im sorry to bother you but i was hoping you could help me. I have these two cats they are mother and daughter, they belonged to my fiances grandma but she passed away on Oct. 25th. Now we are trying to find them a home but it is hard because everyone we know cannot take either of them. Our last resort would be to take them to the pound we do not want to do that because im extremly against that. I just dont know what to do they are awesome cats but i cannot take them in either. Please if you could help me to spread the word i would apreciate it so much.

a stray cat showed up at my boyfriend's house in september. we gave him food and water and let him sleep in the garage for awhile. he never left. he was super friendly and would follow us around and paw at us for attention and jump on our laps when we sat on a chair. after about a month we brought him in the house with us. there are 3 other cats in the house, and he by far is the best one. he sleeps with my boyfriends dad at night. he curls up around his head on his pillow. everyone who comes to the house and meets him, loves him.

rescued animals are by far the best pets you could ever have. rescue an animal from a shelter, dont buy from pet stores.
