Greetings, Salutations

Just wanted to let ya know about a show that transpired for us last
night. We'll be playing in N.E. Wisconsin 1 night only on Saturday
night, December 26th at Palm Gardens in Champion (just north of Green
Bay)

We'll be jammin with our lifelong pals from "The Carpet Baggers" and
"Dead Modern Villains". Show starts at 9pm and is all ages with
+21wristbands and boozin'! Cover will only be a few dollars but you'll
get nothin but rockin tunes for hours on end. It's been two years since
we've played in our homestate and we'd love to make a doozy out of this
night!!

So, please mark your calenders and meet up with us for a post X-mas throwdown.

this surfaced (just a week ago)

 
it's from spring-early summer 1980 (before i split in july to the new
job up here in the Bay area, quitting the band until Dec 81 when the lp was
still long-unfinished)

sound sucks (no drums), vocals are slightly (or
totally) subpar  -- BUT

IT DOCUMENTS our two-identical-Mesa-boogie-amp
heads (into different cabs) with  1961-1964 killer Gibson guitars

WHITE
NOISE GUITAR, automatic every gig from PJ's first sept 79 gig
onwards

we're talking 1977 Saints or 1973 Stooges here, awesome world
class white-noise rhythm guitar grind ( = PJ).  we intentionally used that
equpment/amps so that we wouldn't have a "lame generic Marshall amp sound"
like 100 other bands. 

Inside My Brain is faster (than the recorded
bersion) because even two or three months later, our tempos across the board
were ramping up "early hardcore" and getting faster all on their own

as cultural de-evolution it would be jaw dropping, but in the historical scheme of how fast music genres tank out (let's say from 1977 elvis costello/Cars/blondie new wave to the 1980 LA-scene "fake new wave" acts that every major label in LA signed 1 or 2 or 3 of) i guess it's nothing new.

it's kinda like if one had never put on a "lite metal / commercial-hard-rock" album during the entire 8 or 9 years between 1st/2nd Billy Squier and the first Trixter album i guess.   you'd be all like omg omg omg SATAN BE GONE! but actually, it's just the 1st Trixter album, dude.

why the hell would you want to draff them?  i mean Harvin just BLEW
through  the middle zone on that kickoff return.

always have) watch SEC saturday afternoon football?  i sure do.  10 hrs
or more EVERY saturday, fuckin right.



Macklin from Missouri (who is a clone of Harvin, but a better WR skills) was also a steal.

inches tall, seriously).  all types of men's sizes/styles.  i can't
remember what your t-shirt size was?



the 2XL was theonly one left in regular merch (going to gigs, some of
it each time) which is how i noticed it when i was pulling the shirts
to pack/that go to LancasterPalmdale and San Marcos in two weeks.  (all
already packed, somewhere during the 10 hrs of SEC FOOTBALL yesterday
on my TV)





i could swap out any one of them for renting out 1-foot wide of merch
table space at the Oct 2 exclusiver appearance of TREITLER IS AWESOME
UK at gilman.  since i'll steal it anyway by being there early to set
up for the GILMAN DANCE CONTEST $5 PRIZE 7pm, mike alvarez';s wet
dream, 70's/80's/90's disco and Freestyle and Eurobeat on a boombox
while the "real bands" are loading in.



i can bring the #4 men's MED green FARVE retail jersey (with samoans
screen on teh front) to Oct 2 in case you want to wear it around for
good luck or something.  but Norb still has first claim on it.  which
may change (his wanting it) if the Vikings/Farve keep WINNING GAMES
WITH 2 SECONDS LEFT.  the SF-Vikings game today was just NUTTTTTS.
