Bob Ryan	Mar 4, 2008 1:48 AM Judee Sill's story has got to be one of the saddest and most haunting I know. I saw her perform live as warm up to Crosby & Nash in 1971 and really thought she was going to make a big splash, then she just disappeared. It wasn't until years later, from Steven Barncard, who had recorded Crrosby & Nash that nght, that Judee had died. that was probably in 2000 and I had never found her record since that night. I have it now. I'm honored to be a friend on this site. Bob Ryan

Roddy	Feb 15, 2008 10:56 PM Great!! I'm so glad you're using the picture from the 1st album. It's my favourite and (along with the front cover), SO iconic. I have 2 original copies of the album - one VERY used and one in more or less pristine condition. I copied it on to cd about a year ago and listen to that now so I don't damage the vinyl. Lovely to hear The Phoenix, one of my very favourite of Judee's songs alongside Crayon Angels, which I sing myself. Keep here. I'll always come to listen. Roddy xx
