They have a Laney 100 watt tubed head at Guitar Center for 400 bucks... I'm really thinkin about it.

And I definately know what you mean about the Rocktron thing. I think what I'm gonna do is just try to get a BBE EQ, get a good delay pedal, maybe a few other good ones, and I'm also gonna try to get a Boss Loop Station. I've also been looking at the BBE crusher pedal.

You certainly have great taste. Do you have Sail Away live with Tom and Kenny Werner? The first track is Yesterdays. It really is beautiful work. Transcription books are great but it is always better if you can do the transcriptions yourself. It is the time and the struggle of transcription that makes you grow as a musician.

We played a ton of gigs last semester and more are coming up. We are looking to bring in Anne Drummond, who plays with Kenny Barron.
Speaking of jazz players named Kenny, do you have Kenny Wheeler's CD Gnu High? It is a classic that will have you coming back to the well again and again. My contact info is in an e mail.

It's great hearing from you! All is well in theoryland. I've written all of the tests and quizzes in Web CT which allows students the opportunity to retake tests until the material is mastered. This year we are bringing in Anne Drummond ( flutist with Kenny Barron) for the Jazz fest. Are you back from Tempe?
