Hi,
I uploaded my brand new song, "An Open Letter", a 9:37 minutes-long track which I believe will appeal to those who love progressive, new wave, jazz, art-rock, gothic and classical music, since it contains elements from all these musical genres and even some reggae-like passages and little oriental and almost ambient touches...
Main influences:
Japan/David Sylvian/Mick Karn/Dolphin Brothers/Nine Horses, Talk Talk, Bamboo Industry/Rain On Bamboo, Duran Duran/Arcadia, Alphaville, Furniture, The Associates/Billy Mackenzie, Camel, Eyeless In Gaza, Shriekback, The Cure, The Stranglers, It's Immaterial, Blue Nile, Scott Walker, Metro/Duncan Browne, John Foxx, David Bowie, Roxy Music, Ippu Do/Masami Tsuchiya, Yukihiro Takahashi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Winston Tong, Eberhard Weber, Percy Jones, David Torn, Erik Satie, Wim Mertens, Devil Doll, Gazpacho, Ken's Novel, Arrakeen, Riverside, Sad Lovers And Giants, And Also The Trees, B-Movie, Jeanette Dwyer, Marcie's Still Waiting, Bark Psychosis, DeFilm, White Town, Muse, Blezqi Zatsaz...and many more!
Hope you enjoy it, let me know!
cheers from Rome

Hi there!
Check out my brand new song, a electronic-new wave/art-rock one titled “The Cyborg”!
And don’t miss the previous ones:
“Last Night At Chrysalis Hotel”, an instrumental spacesynth track full of colourful melodic solos and harmonies;
"Just Illusion", kind of a baroque jazzy-pop tune with sax, some classical piano/strings influences and my usual mickkarnian "fretless frenzy" trademark!
"The World Is On Fire", which has got some Duran Duran's, Alphaville's,Classix Nouveaux's, The Associates', Wim Mertens', B-Movie's and The Killers' touches, I think!
Then the psychedelic-postpunk/symphonic-powermetal trashy tune"Formerly Known As The King" - somehow inspired by Muse and Sonata Arctica - and the jazzy-eastern-prog ballad "Nothing To Believe In",whose arrangement owes much to the likes of David Bowie, Arcadia, Masami Tsuchiya, Japan, David Sylvian, Mick Karn, Dolphin Brothers, Nine Horses, Furniture, The Associates, Billy Mackenzie, Metro, Scott Walker, Eyeless in Gaza,The Cure, Erik Satie, Eberhard Weber, Arrakeen, Bertrand Betsch...) and let me know what you think!
Hope you enjoy my music!
cheers from Rome

Always enjoyed Furniture's songs - I'm sure I saw them supporting someone at Leicester Poly in the early 80s but for the life of me can't remember who it was! I bet there'll be someone out there who knows when they played at that particular venue, that's the sort of thing that fans know!

Thanks for the add. I am so plased I found this page. I have all the albums on (can you believe it) cassette and am desperate to get them on cd, but not found them yet. Any ideas as to where I can get them from? My tape of "she gets out the scrapbook" has completely worn through......LOL I just LOVE furniture, but never saw them live, as the gig we went to was cancelled (Sheffield, aroung 86, 87?).
Cheers, Sharon
